Mealtimes are always such a struggle. If it isn't pizza, eggs or bacon it can be tough to get her to eat. A~ can be such a picky eater! Makes me crazy to spend time fixing something and not a bite goes down.
Thank God for ketchup. If it wasn't for ketchup there are a lot of foods that would just sit there on the place... like rice, green beans, and cucumber... yes, you read correctly... cucumber! (Gross!)
Last night we tried mini ravioli... but we called then pasta pockets to make them less strange. It worked and she had two helpings. I tried to give her more for lunch today, but that was taking it a bit too far apparently and she ate only one little ravioli! It's amazing how often just changing the name of the food works... it's not broccoli, it's baby trees... it's not cauliflower, it's white broccoli...I keep trying to get her to try tomatoes... "it's just raw ketchup, honey"... but she's not buying that... yet!!!
I'd better get to work on tonight's dinner options!
Much love!

Could be a genetic disorder.. or you could blame it on genetics - Papasan didn't eat tomatoes, but would use catsup.. on french fries - but never on cucumbers!!
Sort of like fish - Papasan loved to go fishing or floundering (gigging for them), but he didn't eat them. He would catch, clean & scale them, but Mamasan always made something else for him to eat while the rest of us ate his fish. When we had meatless Fridays, Papasan always took a cheese sandwich for lunch - no fish for him.
???? Baby Trees???? Baby vegetables are 'very in'... but are 'trees' a vegetable???
Is A~ this pickie with Bolivian dishes or do/does Spanish dishes taste better??
Just "food for thought"... later.
